Ingredients

1/2 pound Ground beef
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Dried minced onion
1/8 teaspoon Paprika
2 tablespoons Water
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced Onion
8 restaurant style corn tortilla chips
1 large red jalapeno
1/2 cup monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup refried beans

Cook the ground beef in a large pan over medium heat, use a spatula to crumble the beef into small pieces while it cooks. When you no longer see the pink in the meat, drain off the fat.

Add the chili powder, salt, dried onion, paprika and water. Simmer over low heat for like 10 minutes.

Heat the refried beans in the microwave for like 2 minutes.

In a bowl mix the 2 cheeses together.

Arrange the tortilla chips on a baking sheet or an oven safe ceramic plate. Spread about a tablespoon of refried bean over each chip.

Preheat the oven to 375° F.

Sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of beef onto the beans on each chip and try to make a flat surface for the cheese.

Pour a handful of cheese on each chip and sprinkle a pinch of diced onion.

Place the red jalapeno on the top.

Bakefor 8 to 10 minutes, until you see that the cheese has melted.
