    Wet the lumps of sugar with some water and place in a pan overa high heat.

    Add the salted butter and blend together. When the butter melts, decrease the heat until you get a caramel color.

    Take the pan off the fire and add the milk and blend together.

    Replace the pan over a low heat until it becomes as creamy as honey.
