6 egg yolks
1 L Milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
100 gr sugar

English cream

Much like a custard, this cream sauce is actually for use in pouring over fruits or desserts to enhance and sweeten the flavors.

    Mix the vanilla extract with the milk and place on fire to boil.

    In a mixing bowl stir the eggs and the sugar untill blended together. Then slowly add the boiled milk to the mixture whisking as it is being added. When finished adding all ingredients together, pour contents into a medium size pan.

    We should make the pan far from the heat by placing it in a water bath ( placing the pan in a bigger one that is full of waterto the half).

    Cook the cream over a really low heat. Keep stirring until you notice that the cream became thick.
